Mom's Anxiety to Feed her Child Differently

A few weeks ago I met a new family, they already knew a lot about Human Design but not much about eating. After I looked up their son's PHS eating strategy we discovered it was like mine—Consecutive. The most rigid digestive system, much like cave men. We have to eat 1 thing at a time and ZERO processed food otherwise we get any or all of these symptoms: bloating, acid reflux, vitamin and mineral deficiencies or constipation. This baby was just under 2 and mom said she would offer a variety of foods but her son would pick 1 thing out and refuse to eat other stuff. She had a lot of anxiety around
'is my kid getting enough nutrition?'
Quality over quantity when it comes to this design type. You can force lots of variety but it will not be digested well and therefore the nutrients will not be absorbed. Luckily, this child is still young enough to be deeply connected to his own intuition of how he needs to eat. If mom doesn't keep pushing him to override his intuition with eating a variety at one time, he stands a greater chance of extraordinary neural development and a strong, healthy body. These kids need to be able to eat more often and literally 1 whole food at a time only. Don't push, allow them to do what their body knows they need. Take deep breaths and know there is no ONE SIZE FITS ALL. Honor your baby's design and watch them thrive. Wishing them both well on their journey outside of the homogenized box society attempts to put us all in.
